The ammo settings on our islands is too restrictive imo, you can only choose either Infinite Ammo or not infinite.
This doesn’t sound like a problem but when you have tactical modes like CTF, Domination, etc (that are not JUST straight up combat) you do feel the need to set limited ammo for some weapons/items, a few examples are the Chug Cannon and all explosive weapons.
So a device to handle ammo would solve this issue.
It could have an Item slot where you put the item you want to modify, then an ‘Infinite Ammo’ checkbox. It can also have an ‘Invert’ setting so ALL OTHER ITEMS get Infinite Ammo except this one.
I can definitely see the vast majority of Creators benefiting from this.

having more options to customize the experience is always a plus. I found a way to already do what youre asking with the current devices.
The conditional button device allows you to scan a player and see how many of a specific item they have. So for example, if you wanted the player to have unlimited light ammo but limited ammo for the other types, you could scan for light ammo with the conditional button device and then grant the player light ammo if they have below a threshold. this gives the same functionality as having infinite ammo for light ammo only
You could do a similar check for specific guns ammo. check if the player has the weapon in their hand with the conditional button and also check how much ammo they have of a specific type for that weapon. grant ammo accordingly
not an ideal solution and it requires verse, but it could work depending on your needs
