[Suggestion] Icon for notifications+option to follow authors.

So. There is a site, called Artstation, in which you have this icon: Notification. Which is a bell, that shows a number when the site detects an important message you should read.

Also, in this same website, you have a button in an author’s profile, to follow him.

This way, when you enter in the site, if you see a notification, you are warned that the authors you are following, have released a new piece. So you can go and see what’s has released.

This site, fab, could have the exact same behaviour.

You could favourite an author. You could have an inmediate notification at the momment it has released new stuff. If you like how this author works, or you are fan of him, you would instantly know that he has released things, and you could go to acquire them.

This would increase sales, as people are instantly notificated of stuff they are eager to acquire. As everyone could choose their favourite content makers. And know the exact moment, they have available new stuff.

Hey, Epic… Listen!! ::money_with_wings: :money_with_wings: :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed: :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed: :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

The bottom line with what you’re saying seems to me to be what many feel in various ways.
This site feels souless.
It’s a bit like an empty hull of a ship waiting to be filled with all the exciting things it would be possible to fill it with.

And of course, who wants to enter an empty hull?

At the moment I don’t even bother to look and see if I have made a sale anymore (not that I have so far). Because even the sales page is lifeless and boring. It’s just a case of, put in a date, have you had a sale, yes/no…now walk away, nothing else to see here.
I might as well just check back at the end of the month to see a boring sales figure.

The most interesting part of Fab, for me at least, is reading this forum…I say interesting, of course the word I should use is depressing, sprinkled with a few sparkles here and there.

And of course, I’m just talking about the overall feel of the place for us creators and customers. We all know, have read, the reported issues and problems.

I, like I’m sure many others, had such high hopes for this site, but sadly that high feeling has become a low.

But, of course, this can’t have been Fabs intended idea, so even though I’m failing to feel upbeat about the site because of all the grey clouds, I hope, I’m sure, the sun will shine at some point.

Thanks for those suggestions, @TheMoli_23 . I’ve shared them with the team.
