group selection with the use for, allowing for group select functions on other groups, like as we have the current group changing value currently. (if using names of devices or some common ID’ing the thing to change without too many issues?)
like for instance, if the game will get very device heavy usage to create the experience one wants. like barrier_locked_gate 1,2,3-10 connecting to trigger_gate 1,2,3-10, and that all with similar ID and number, will connect like an matching array/list? I guess that means creating a new device “targeting/function channel” to use said function? taking the device + named group + value and able to do the thing one wants.
also maybe helpful if you have zone 1, zone 2 and zone 3.
Unless one used an entity with said component, that the device would rather target? but I guess the way entities are being used, is not that big yet? or how are people using that? (maybe making a question thread for how people use it?)
