I’m really enjoying Twinmotion’s interactivity, but I think it’s missing a very important feature: the option to create collisions in drone navigation mode.
Currently, when navigating in pedestrian mode, Twinmotion automatically creates collisions on objects in the scene, but this doesn’t happen in drone mode.
With that in mind, I thought of some suggestions for what could happen with collisions in drone mode.
- Add collision blocks to the scene to limit the area where the drone can fly, similar to Unreal Engine;
- Have the option to disable or enable drone or pedestrian modes in Twinmotion’s properties or when exporting the presentation (both executable and cloud).
- Have both options above, so each person can choose what works best for their presentation.
- Twinmotion automatically creates collisions in drone mode, just like in pedestrian mode. And then have the option to disable object collisions when needed, which will work for both modes (drone and pedestrian).
If you find this interesting and would also like this feature to come in future updates, please like and comment your suggestion so that the Twinmotion development team can see this topic.
