- Ability to swap out images used for alignment, versus images used to generate the textures
Hi Chris Olson
- Have ability toggle on/off colorize and texture features
You mean to DISABLE particular cameras for coloring/texturing ? If so, then it is already there, just select camera(s) and change its/their parameters for various tasks in the 1Ds view.
- Ability to completely remove images from project
You can export the proper images as a COMPONENT and reload it back with ONLY images that you need to use… ( removing unwanted ones )
- Have ability toggle on/off colorize and texture features
You misunderstood. I mean be able to display the texture and toggle to display gray shaded points without any colorizing or texturing applied.
Agreed, deletion or removal of inputs or images is feasible by exporting component, but being able to do it after some models were computed, … would be a good thing as well
I thought you CAN swap out images, just by changing them in the source folder, granted they have the same geometry and filename…
Don’t you think that swap images will be confusing for RC if computation(s) using these images are already in the cache ?
Does RC detects that the images changed and that the data depending on them need to be recomputed even if already in cache ?
Of course they need to have the same geometry!
But the colours could be enhanced/decreased or slightly altered or even partly replaced…
You want to swap out images if, for example, you use a projected pattern on the target object to give RC the needed features for proper alignment.
In such a case you take a set of photos with the projected pattern and a set without.
Corresponding images must be named the same.
Right now you can do it by having two folders, each holding one set of photos and you simply rename the folders after the alignment process is done.
