Sudden powerloss after updating to 5.4.4

Has anyone had or heard of crashes or PC power loss when using 5.4.4?

I’ve watched the temps and load as I work in the project. Everything is as expected but since yesterday, randomly my PC will shut down when in the editor. This isn’t a crash with an error log or bsod, it’s a full on lights out shut down into a restart.

This has started happening super suddenly and I’m wary if it’s a hardware/PSU issue, but it doesnt happen in any other program or game. Drivers are all up to date and the usual culprits have been checked but I still cant make sense of it when it happens so randomly during the work period.

I will try a rollback to 5.4.3 tomorrow but I’m wondering if anyone has had something similar occur on 5.4.4 or in the past?

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum. I have not personally saw anyone having this issue with the new version. If temps and work load are normal the only other thing I could think of checking would be system stability. Do you overclock anything in your system? (Also, has this occurred while not in UE or only while using it?)
