Sudden low fps in UE 5.1 large project

Hello,

I’m doing sound design contract work for a 130 gb project and have been having low frame rates (single digits) working in editor and testing in PIE mode while the rest of my team has been fine. This started happening when we updated to UE 5.1 from UE 5. This doesn’t happen at all with new projects or even the matrix awakens demo.

I have an Nvidia RTX 3080, 12th gen Intel i7 processor, 80 gbs of RAM, all my scalability settings are set to low, I tried all the r.GraphicsAdapter settings, I have the latest GeForce driver, my GPU is indeed recognized and being used when I check the logs folder, and I tried deleting the Derived Data Cache of the project and editor version too. When entering the stat unit command, I’m always gpu bound, but everything I’ve been trying hasn’t helped at all. What might be the issue?

Fixed by reinstalling Windows
