Subsequences start on the timeline as visible, even when visibility is keyframed to "off"

Hi,
I have multiple animated subsequences that need to show up at different stages in the timeline.

Even though the geocache or parent actor within the sequence is keyframed to actorhidden/visibility off, they all remain visible from the very start of their timeline. Other static meshes with visibility keyframed behave as expected.

Am I doing this wrong? Is there some other way to hide things until they need to run on the timeline? Am new to Unreal so appreciate any help

It sounds like you’re expecting that the visibility of the parent will affect the visibility of the actors attached to it. That’s not the case unfortunately. You’ll need to key the visibility of the actors individually.
