I’m confused about how the built-in Audio Submix blueprints are intended to work with the Audio Modulation plugin’s concept of a Control Bus and Control Bus Mixes.
Are you intended to use the two systems together, or does the Audio Modulation plugin and its idea of Control Busses completely replace the idea of Submixes?
I don’t see why you can’t use them together. I don’t know if I would say they’re necessarily “intended” to be used together.
Audio modulation CB/CBM are much more limited to their uses, but I do prefer using it if I need the pass filters/volum/etc. I am just more comfortable using them along with controlling their parameters and values.
I honestly don’t have much experience with submixes and never needed to dive much deeper into it. Get comfortable with Control Bus stuff and if you need more control than that provides or Metasounds, I think that’s when you might need to start doing more work to combine the systems.
