Submarine sinks in Empty Open World but works in Empty Level with WaterBodyOcean

I’m experiencing a buoyancy problem with the same submarine blueprint using the Water Plugin’s WaterBodyOcean in UE 5.6. When placed in an Empty Level, the submarine floats and behaves as expected using the Buoyancy Component. However, when I use an Empty Open World level and add the same WaterBodyOcean and blueprint, the submarine sinks and behaves strangly.

The nozzle is added in the blueprint’s construction script to submarine mesh’s socket and turning it on/off looks to somehow affect the buoyancy aswell.

If anyone knows how to repair this issue, please share your advice!
