Subject: Issue with Capture the Flag Tutorial – Conflict Between Item Return Time and Eliminated Player Items Setting

Hi Epic Team,

I found an issue in UEFN Capture the Flag tutorial
In capture item spawner , the flag return time is 10 seconds
but in class designer, eliminated player items was checked
that means when the flag carrier dies
the flag will be remove and immediately respawn in capture item spawner.

Is this behavior intentional? It seems to conflict with the idea of a delayed flag return, as the flag is respawned instantly instead of waiting the specified 10 seconds.

Or did I missed anything? thanks

Haven’t read the tutorial, but this does make sense for a capture the flag game

I haven’t used those items in a really good while but If im not mistaken the flag item does not respect the eliminated player drop settings and drops regardless, Im not sure though It could have been the jewel who did that
