Subdivide to smooth Low poly geo

I built a lowrez object in Maya which I am going to put a procedural texture on in UE4. As the texture slides along the mesh is takes sharp corners. If I could subdivide/smooth this mesh them my procedural textures would slide smoothly over the mesh.

Is there a way to smooth/subdivide a object in UE4 or should I do it in Maya?

do your smooth subdivision in Maya, then reimport the mesh.
