Stylized fish market environment

Hi! I’ve been working on this project for a few weeks now, Im working on a full environment for my final uni project. the Premise is an stylized fish market located in the middle of a rocky island. I want to push a painterly feel similar to what you would find in airship syndicate.

Hey! So I’ve kept chipping at it, I worked on applying the textures, refining the water and getting rid of that emptiness over the horizon

There’s still a lot to be done! but Im really optimistic so far! I just have to get through a couple more assets and I’ll start adding in the spice with some props to get that delicious delicious colors

Hi there @JesusSAR,

Hope you’re well and having a spectacular week so far

The last image genuinely took my breath away. It feels so fantastical and dreamy. It seems to all be coming together in such a beautiful way. What are your current next steps/plans?

Hi! I come with some more updates! There’s a bunch of stuff I want to get ready But this week has mostly been about texturing and sculpting the hero asset of the environment, the hanging fish!

I might give is some second passes but thats yet to be seen
alongside that I worked on texturing the lamp

which is also gonna need some more work put into it if I find the time

Finally got around to doing the glass for the building! Only a few more windows to go!!

As you can see I also expanded the “fish gallow” to have a third platform, this way you get a better look at the fish without compromising its size!

I had a great week thanks!
Tysm! Well I think I’ve got around two weeks to get all of this finished. This week I’ll be focusing on doing some set dressing to fill the environment with, some boxes, ropes maybe a bucket or two, you know! stuff that you would find in a fish market.

I also want to do some work on the building, finish the last glass panel and over all just polish it a bit!
Would be cool to add some plant variety as well although thats yet to be seen given my time constrains

Im particularly proud of this barrel

These three, the materials are still a WIP

Here we can see the new assets in action

We’re on the final strech!!! I bring some more updates!

I’ve kept on working on the nick·nack of these scene, adding some new probs, polisihing some old ones and most of all, finally finished the glass! (although I’d like to do a revision on the center piece)

some assets so you can take in the textures I painted hehe

There’s been a lot of little details added which I couldnt really gather properly (quite frankly I probably dont remember half of them)

But one of the newer aditions the crate! Honestly I dont even know how we’ve gone so far without a single crate hahahaha, but its finally here!

Hi there @JesusSAR !

After getting caught up on the project, I must say I’m thoroughly impressed! I’ve always been a fan of scenes with the style you’re showcasing. I’ve never been able to understand what to call the style other than perhaps cartoon like realism.

Regardless. I think your work so far is very impressive and I’m a little curious if our fishy friend will have any type of shine to him or will he be a more matte fish?
