Studio Wildcard, the ambitious indie creators of ARK: Survival Evolved, are currently looking to hire awesome Unreal Engine 4 gameplay programmers to join the team, preferably on-site at our offices in Gainesville, Florida or Seattle, Washington – though we can also consider remote employment on a case-by-case basis.
We don’t have set experience requirements, except that you can sling quality UE4 code in C++ (most important) and Blueprint, and that you have a good grasp or mastery of UE4 networking, game systems, and object design concepts. Above all, it’s important that you love gameplay mechanics programming in particular; we consider our gameplay programmers as pro-active designers and look to them to make iterative creative decisions throughout their programming process to achieve the best possible player-feedback and polish of gameplay mechanics. We offer extremely competitive salaries and incentives to being part of the Wildcard team, and we have some hugely exciting as-yet-unrevealed stuff in the works that we look forward to showing you.
