Stuck in a wall and cannot move through opening

I have a building i need to navigate around inside. I am modelling in 3dsmax and using UCX_meshname for all the collision onbects. Exporting as an FBX usually works fine.

However, I am having an issue with this VERY basic bit of geometry at the moment. My character can run through some of the openings (red arrow) but cannot pass through the opening where I indicate the arrow head. My UCX meshes are highlighted in green.

Any ideas why I can’t pass into the room marked with an ‘x’? Is there a limit on how many UCX meshes you can use?

…not only can I not pass into that room, but I get stuck in the wall where the opening is!

Well, it seems if I move the UCX mesh a bit it now works. Wierd. Perhaps UE4 doesn’t adhere to where I place the meshes exactly or something.
