I think what is happening is the project is corrupted and can no longer load. This happens suddenly to projects even when created in UE5 itself. It happens not when you enter the editor, but then when you try to load in a map or a recorded sequence or take. It just freezes and never can load or be accessed again. It basically is like a Red Ring of Death for that UE5 project. You have to abandon and try again in a new project. UE5 is very skiddish yet.
