This solution worked for me. MSI Laptop with a GTX1070 and NVidia Experience. None of the engine settings will work if battery boost is turned on. Also for additional information, you will need to restart any running apps to see the frame rate change in those apps - it doesn’t uncap immediately when boost is turned off.
