Structure list collapses during editing default values. The example is below.
I’ve attempted to reproduce this issue, but haven’t been able to do so.
- Are you able to reproduce this in a clean project?
- Are you using a custom class for your variable type inside of your struct?
- Can you provide steps we can follow to reproduce this in a clean project?
Do you also use array type for embeded structures?
After investigating this issue, it appears that it is a known issue, UE-28827. This issue is being investigated by our developers, but there is currently no timeline for when a fix will be released.

Any update on this situation? This bug makes a simple task of changing multiple variables in our main data asset take 10x longer than it should
