Hi,
I am currently scanning shoes for various customers. Unfortunately I am struggling with a texturing problem. The scan aid I use is always projected very strangely into the final texture, even though the scan aid is still included in the mesh. Using “Photoconsistency-Based Texturing” fixes this problem, but unfortunately causes massive problems on the rest of the shoe. Therefore, I am looking for a working solution for “Visibility-Based-Texturing”. What can be the reason for the wrong projection? Do you guys have any tips or suggestions for a solution?
Edit: The last photo is the mesh with Normal Detail on downscale by 4. The error remains even with a denser and more accurate mesh.

this seems like an issue with those supporting stuff. Is there a way that the shoe’s bottom will be captured without those pillars?
