Hello Unreal Engine community,
I’ve encountered an issue while rendering an image with a Metahuman character, specifically regarding the hair which appears to have strange noise artifacts. I’m hoping someone here might have encountered a similar problem or have insights on how to address it.
I’m using the latest version of Unreal Engine and have followed the standard procedures for setting up the hair material and rendering. However, despite my efforts, the hair renders with noticeable noise, detracting from the overall quality of the image.
I’ve experimented with various settings, such as adjusting the material properties and tweaking the lighting setup, but haven’t been able to achieve a satisfactory result.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with Metahuman characters or have suggestions on how to mitigate the noise in hair rendering? Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
I use Macbook pro M1 with Lumen.
