Strange issues loading in to existing published map in UEFN

Hi guys, sorry if im missing some thing but im having an issue when i load in to a saved/published map (so that i can make some changes/fixed to update the map) but i load it up on uefn and it loads with a bunch of changes that were all made during the initial map creation.

So for example if i built a wall… but at some point changed the wall… ill load in to uefn and it will have BOTH walls there… even though my last save (and map publish) had just the last wall. (hope that makes sense) pic below for reference… but there is like 100 things in the map that are like this… it also happens on multiple of my maps. it worry’s me that maybe island and device settings might be random too… so if i make edits and update the map… i might be re-publishing the map with issues.

pic below for example… i had the sand bags there early in the map making… but changed them out for the white and orange barriers later… which the map was saved and published with… but now when i open it in uefn to edit other things… it has both?

It sounds like your using One-Drive or some other cloud backup service

would you suggest disabling onedrive?

literally all my maps are doing it

I’m not sure but you shouldn’t have to disable it totally, Just make the UEFN project directories not part of the cloud back up.

The trouble is UEFN doesn’t sync its changes with one drive backup, one drive will rewrite the old data its saved back into the Project folder after you’ve deleted it.

If you checked in changes at a point before the old data was written back in, then you can just download those.

  • Turn off One-Drive for your UEFN Project folders
  • Move your Project Folders to a different place so it cant be seen by UEFN or One Drive for a backup.
  • Start UEFN and Download your Projects
