Whenever I try to import a model into either blender or UE4, a windows dialog pops up that says “There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive D:.”. The dialog has three options, Cancel, Try Again, and Continue. If I hit continue or cancel enough times Unreal will eventually import the model, but it won’t assign materials. In blender, the models can’t be loaded at all. This happens with both fbx and obj files. Also, I don’t even have a drive D. Does anybody know what’s causing this, or how to fix it?
Just import the textures manually + create the material in the UE4 -> easiest way to solve the problem with the UE4. Otherwise make sure that the mesh is uv mapped, that the texture has a right file type and that you have exported the mesh with textures.
