Strange alignment issues with Lightmass Importance Volumes in GPU Lightmass


As this video shows, the actual volumetric lightmap probes(?) are extremely inconsistent in their placement within importance volumes, very often vanishing and snapping around, causing massive holes in the volumetric lightmap that cause large areas of darkness for any non-static objects. The whole grid shifts around annoyingly whenever slightly moving any importance volume.
Is this just normal behavior I have to put up with? Is there a workaround that isn’t fiddling with decimal scaling every time I build to make sure none of my importance volumes have massive gaps, or just giving up and making the importance volumes huge and having lots of wasted space? Is that wasted space even that heavy in terms of file size?
