Store Migration - Major Concerns

Hello everyone! I’m really hoping this FAB thing works out. I’ve been happily creating content and cultivating a store on Sketchfab since 2016. I don’t know the average or norm, it doesn’t matter, but I have over 100 models I’m migrating over to FAB…

…the migration seems to have worked. All the assets are there, and the listings look good. I still have to check pricing and stuff apparently before I submit for review…

I was wondering a few things–over the years, I’ve accumulated a lot of likes, downloads, and statistics. These stats are badges I’ve earned over the years of work and store curation. Will I be losing all these numbers? Maybe I’m missing something, but this is important.

Will FAB not have a 3d model viewer embedded in the website? I certainly hope it does, because that’s huge. That’s what makes Sketchfab, Sketchfab.

Again, maybe I’m misunderstanding, but will I be keeping my Sketchfab store also? Or is it completely closing? Because if you close it, and people lose the 3d model view aspect of their 3d content creation, that is a massive loss.

Next, do I have to go through every single product one by one and submit it for review? Since I migrated over 100 models, is there a way to batch submit these for review? I’ve gone through a few here, and this will take up my entire morning doing this task–it should just copy the data from Sketchfab.

Adding EIGHT CLICKS and loading times for over 100 products for something that should be automatic is annoying.

I’m all about supporting Epic, I always have, but if I lose all my stats and 3d viewer from Sketchfab in this ‘takeover’, that would be very sad and annoying.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, did you manage to submit all 100 of your migrated models. If any got sanctioned, do you know why?

Last month I migrated over 400 models from Sketchfab. Within one day I submit over 50 of them one by one until my fingers and eyes are hurting, then I forgot about it. All of them got accepted.

However, this week I resume the submission but somehow a lot got sanctioned. Today I submit 10 more and none of them got accepted. Even my newly made model that I uploaded is not accepted. My appeal got rejected within minute.

All of them are denied on the ground of “unsupported file type”. I saw that they pack all of my migrated model into zip but I cannot download them to verify it content. But they show up just fine in 3D viewer.

Yes, I’ve got one sanctioned so far (although on FAB, it’s very hard to see what item is actually being sanctioned, but through my email, it showed which item).

It was an IP thing–it was the Shai-Hulud sandworm from Dune. I have about 10 more items that could be hit for copyright if the IP owners really care, we’ll see.

Oh man, I feel for you with that amount of assets.
