Stereo layers don't work in a package

I am using stereo layers to display a texture in VR. When I run my project in engine using the play button the texture shows up fine and on top of all level geo as expected, BUT when I view it in a package the same texture gets occluded by level geo that is in front of it.

What is going on and how can I fix it such that the texture appears on top of level geo in a package?

I am having the opposite problem :slight_smile: in 4.24 still though.
Are you using Vive or Oculus.

o wow how weird! I am using Oculus, does it matter? I would think its platform agnostic, especially since I believe I am following the guidelines set for oculus devices.
