SteamVR plugin not visible in UE5 despite having SteamVR OPEN

Hi Baes!
So i am starting to use UE5 to do a VR sim of my model ive made in Rhino! SO cool!!! Anyways, I got a brand new HTC vive PRO and I set up steam VR and got that working, and then downloaded UE5. Im trying to run the UE5 vr TEMPLATE like the base one they give you as a test andddd… it opens in the VR preview fine on my monitor but it doesnt show up in my headset, i just see the default VR space that vive has set up. SO i go on google, and everyone is saying to make sure the steamVR plugin is enabled, but it isnt even showing up when i search for it!

The Galaxy image is my VR view in SteamVR, and you can see steamVR is open but the plugin isnt showing up LOL! helppppp <3

Did you figure this out? same issue for me… UE5.3. This is the closest ive gotten on a google search lol…

Since SteamVR fully supports OpenXR, there is no need for an additional plugin for it. Therefore, the SteamVR plugin has been removed. On the other hand, the OpenXR plugin should be enabled by default in the existing VR template, and according to the screenshot above this should be the case.

If you do not see your project in VR preview mode, SteamVR is either not set as the current OpenXR runtime, or there is an error with its installation. Also make sure the SteamVR desktop app is running before starting the Unreal edtior.
