Whenever I try to use the ‘play as standalone game’ option in my UE5.7.4 project, it seems to kick steamvr back to steamvr home and doesn’t feed the standalone game window into steamvr. The game window seems to still be recieving some degree of input from steamvr, but as far as the headset is concerned it’s not playing a game at all. I checked the registry, there’s no other openxr runtimes in there. I even tried adding a -vr parameter to the launch options of the standalone gamemode, no change. If I have ever tried to run as standalone game that session, it will also break VR Preview and that will stop working too and the only thing that fixes it is completely restarting both the editor and steamvr. I think it’s somehow crashing whatever unreal uses to keep control of steamvr while using the editor. Anyone know how to fix this? Is this a known issue? I use an index by the way, if that helps.
