Steam VR not recognising UE 5.4 VR Preview

I recently upgraded from a Quest 2 to a PSVR2 for my PC and have switched my OpenXR runtime to Steam VR. While in the editor when I launch a project in VR Preview it doesn’t get recognised by Steam VR. I have tried this with a new VR Tempate project. The only way I have been able to make SteamVR recognise the game has been by building the project. Is there any way to fix this or work around it?

Thank you so much, start in VR was enabled in my project settings but the Enable HMD node worked perfectly.

Man I just want to say thank you so much! I was stuck on this for 2.5 days and all the googling I did was just talking about setting OpenXR as the default runtime for SteamVR. That’s not even a developer option in SteamVR anymore so I was completely lost…

You’d think that the VR Template, which is targeted towards learning VR development, would have had something like this…
