steam networking and gamelift conflict

Is it possible to support both steam networking and still be able to connect to aws gamelift servers via raw ip?

If i set bUseSteamNetworking=false , then I can connect via ip and port to aws gamelift servers, but whenever this is false I can not use advancedsteamsessions plugin which uses steam matchmaking. Any tips on how I can solve this? Can you change defaultengine.ini dynamically in runtime, or at least net drivers?
