Hello Everyrone,
i’ve some problems to set corectly Steam Into my Project. I’ve following EPIC Recommandation but for a reason i ignore i don’t have the overlay and the dll are still notified as Missing during package,
All Forums post are pretty old, and refer to Steam SDK V128 or even V129a , so it’s time for a little update for everyone :
1 - i’ve added into my engine folder the [Steamworks] folder including sub folder [Steamv130] and Inside this one : two others folders : Win32 inclduing [4 Steam Dll] and Win64 including [4 steam dll]
so the two link is :
C:\Program Files\Unreal Engine\4.4\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv130\Win32
C:\Program Files\Unreal Engine\4.4\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv130\Win34
2 - i’ve added in my : defaultengine.ini
[/Script/Engine.GameEngine]
!NetDriverDefinitions=ClearArray
+NetDriverDefinitions=(DefName=“GameNetDriver”,DriverClassName=“/Script/OnlineSubsystemSteam.SteamNetDriver”,DriverClassNameFallback=“/Script/OnlineSubsystemUtils.IpNetDriver”)
[OnlineSubsystem]
DefaultPlatformService=Steam
PollingIntervalInMs=20
[OnlineSubsystemSteam]
bEnabled=true
SteamDevAppId=******]
GameServerQueryPort=27015
bRelaunchInSteam=false
GameVersion=1.0.0.0
bVACEnabled=1
bAllowP2PPacketRelay=true
P2PConnectionTimeout=90
[/Script/OnlineSubsystemSteam.SteamNetDriver]
NetConnectionClassName=“/Script/OnlineSubsystemSteam.SteamNetConnection”
Ok so it’s all pretty simple in fact, but in anycase it not work for me, so if someone have succefully set up steam with v130i i will be happy to know what i’m missing here…
Thanks Again
