Steam Deck Video Playback: Support for *.bk2 Files?

Hi,

I heard that the Steam Deck doesn’t support MP4 (H264) video playback. Does it support *.bk2 (Bink video) files?

I’m planning to use a lot of videos in a library system for my project and need to know if it will work on Steam Deck.

Yes, it does! (Source: we passed Steam Deck verification for our own game.)

It’s possible they finally dealt with the H.264 compatibility since we underwent verification – a cursory Google suggests that might be the case? Best of luck!
