Hello,
I’m testing my application on Steam and everything works for ID 480, the Steam overlay opens, but when I write the ID of my application, the overlay stops working. The overlay itself works for a test application that has an ID of 480, but when I change the application ID to my own, the overlay doesn’t open, tell me if this is the correct ID, which attached in screenshot ? Or maybe I need to wait for the game to release and only then my app ID will work ? I have development going on UE4 using blueprint (plugin OnlineSubsystemSteam).
The app ID is a number.
You are given the ID by steam when you start uploading your game.
I can’t exactly remember the sequence of events, but I do recall that some things don’t work properly until your game is released.
I think you should be able to use your app ID though.
When you got to your store page the URL has the form
The number is your app ID.
Precisely! It’s really not all functions work properly. I’m sorry, but I see that you have encountered this, please tell me, the images for the library are not displayed, although I uploaded images of my game, but instead a black image, don’t know why ?.
That’s right, most of the stuff that should appear in the desktop app won’t work until release.
Oh really ?!
Thank you so much for you help! I was just thinking "Why it doesn’t work and where is my images " And they will be available at the time of release. Thanks again!
