Static Mesh - Why are all my imported sockets rotated by 90 degree?

Hey.
My problem is that when I import a Model as a Static Mesh, made in 3ds Max with the proper placement and naming of all helpers (Socket_…), all the sockets will basically be rotated by 90 degree when imported in Unreal Engine. This happens only when I import as Static Mesh.

So to say it more clearly, there is something wrong with the socket placement when importing to UE

Do someone has a solution or a similar experience?

ND

I would also be interested in some answers, everything else seems to be imported fine and seems like the axis get’s translated correctly into the Motion Builder (which has once again completely different coordinate system then Unreal and Blender from which I am trying to import the static mesh with sockets).

Am I missing something or is this a years long bug in the code of the engine?
