I added a sword to my Knight, placed it his hands and when I play the the sequence in sequencer all is good. But when I render the film the sword disappears and I don’t know why.
I switched it from static to movable but nothing has changed.
Hey! Thank you so much for replying.
Visible is checked. My level has no sublevel.
My guess is, like you say, that when I hit record it gets spawned on a different location.
Here is what I’ve done. I created the sequence with the knight and animated it.
Then I decided later on I want the sword, so I attached the sword to the knight wich is in my sequence. I attached it to his right hand and move the sword in the right location. In Sequencer everything looks great. But as I said it’s gone during rendering. I first thought that changing static to movable would do the trick but no changes.
It was more reliable, at least with 4.26, to attach in sequencer with an attach track. That also allows you to detach when desired.
Note that there are different modes to attach
I had the same issue in UE 5.2. When rendering, some “Static Meshes” would simply disappear, even though everything was visible in the viewport. What I did was attach the “Static Meshes” that were disappearing to the ones that weren’t, and the issue was resolved. Thank you
