Static mesh not rendering on a low-end android phone

Hi all

I’ve run into a problem where a static mesh won’t render on low-end android phone. The mesh renders fine and is visible on a Samsung Galaxy s5 with 720 game resolution but on a cheap android phone resolution is 320 and the mesh no longer renders. Mesh only has 75 verts. Anyone encountered similar problem?

Hi mate. There’s this thread with same problem as yours. Your skeletal mesh may have too many bones (it says 75 bones is max for mobile phone), check the link below.

Mine is simple static mesh in an actor blueprint. The Actor is in the level because other components like a plane with the shadow texture or collision boxes set to visible are in the game but not the static mesh for actual actor
