State Tree is "Unset" on one AI, but fine on another

I set up a state tree for AI on an AI controller, hooked it up to a Manny character and had no issues, but set the same controller on a game animation sample sandbox character and it always fails to run the State Tree with the run status being Unset.

Behavior trees seem to run fine on this exact same asset

Anyone know why a state tree would be failing to get set?

Managed to solve it - its the context on the State Tree itself. Its specific to a certain type of actor
