State of Paper 2D in unreal engine 5

hi!
i know that iin unreal engine 4 the 2D game is creating using paper2D and it is plugin. have they the intention to make 2D part of the engine or keep using the plugin?
it will be great if the make 2D part of the engine.

Downloaded the UE5 source code from GitHub (I’m telling you so you think about that in the future) and searching using “JetBrains Rider for Unreal Engine Preview” and YES, you can find source files of it.
