Restore Your Island — Sell everything you find, upgrade your gear, and make your island more beautiful and expansive. With every piece you clean up, you get one step closer to the dreamy paradise you imagine. Build your cozy beach hut and design it just the way you like.
No rush. No rules. Just you and your beautiful island.
Starting today, I want to share my strange and interesting experience with you on a new journey. I’ll be posting daily vlogs to keep you updated on our new project, which is a small game with high detail. This game is going to be an interesting experience for us using Unreal Engine 5.
Our goal is to release a fun and relaxing game, one that we can be proud of for what we’ve done with Unreal Engine.
Here, I’ll post daily vlogs and keep you updated on everything happening!
Day 3 of development!
Not real gameplay… yet. —just an animated concept to visualize how the trash-collecting mechanic might feel in action.
What do you think? #GameDev#IndieGame#UnrealEngine5
Day 4 of development!
Not real gameplay… #Cleaning up just got more satisfying!
Here’s another concept animation for our game—this time, exploring new ways to collect trash! What do you think? Would you enjoy this kind of mechanic? #IndieGame#GameDevUE5#RelaxingGames
4 days of development, multiple tests, and tons of ideas! A simple grabber might not be the best tool, but that’s exactly why upgrading it early in the game makes so much sense! The first step toward creating a real environmental cleanup experience! #IndieGameUE5
Day 5 of development!
Prototyping is where ideas meet reality. On paper, everything seems perfect, but once built, some mechanics just don’t feel right.

Day 6 of development!
Our prototype for picking up trash with the grabber is complete! We’ve successfully captured the satisfying feel we wanted—tossing trash into the bin is smooth, rewarding, and repeatable. #GameDev#IndieDev#Prototype#GameDesign
Day 7 of Development!
Watch this video to see how, in just 7 days, our raw ideas have turned into a playable experience.
The upcoming weeks are going to be even more exciting! #IndieGameDevUE5#IndieGame#GameDev#RestoreIsland
Day 8: Prototyped our first trash tool—love the results! Now crafting Tool #2, a magnet-like device that sorts waste, feels good to use, and upgrades to grab more trash faster. #IndieGameDevUE5#IndieGame#GameDev#RestoreIsland
Devlog - Day 9
Today we finalized the actual sizes of trash items and started modeling them. A part of the assets were tested in the prototype and things are coming together nicely! #gamedev#indiedevUE5#GameDesign#prototyping#RestoreIsland
#Devlog - Day 10
Say hello to our second trash collecting tool!
A powerful and satisfying gadget that works like a magnet – but smarter. It pulls in specific types of waste separately, making cleanup #fun and efficient! #GameDev#IndieDevUE5#RestoreIsland
Devlog - Day 11
We’re wrapping up week two of development!
While the second tool’s prototype isn’t fully finished yet, it’s already feeling fun and promising.
Fingers crossed we stay on track with our plan! #GameDev#Indiegame#DevlogUE5#RestoreIsland
Devlog - Day 12
When your new game tool kicks in and collects all the trash… then calmly sends it to the trash bin
Introducing the Trash Collector 3000!
Do you think any trash will ever be left untouched again? #Indiegame#Devlog#gamedevUE5#GameDesign#RestoreIsland
Today, we managed to test and design part of the game’s concept and visual style to better understand what we want. It’s unbelievable, we are always amazed by the power of @UnrealEngine . Thanks to @EpicGames for this incredible engine!
Devlog - Day 14
We just finished the prototype for the sand rake’s movement physics!
It’s small, but it adds a whole new layer of realism to our cleanup journey.
