Star Wars Brand Rules: When are we getting the Droid Tycoon droids?

Droid Tycoon has extra assets that we do not have access to, and we cannot import ourselves because of brand rules. This is hurting our ability to make great Star Wars experiences, not just their droids but all of the various missing character and vehicle types.

In order to make the best Star Wars experiences possible, and make both Disney and Epic mo money, we need more droids, more aliens, more imperial officers. Clearly that is possible when we look at Droid Tycoon, but only for them.

If we can have the option to import our own, I’ll happily give those back to the community by submitting them to Epic. I just want to see more Star Wars maps, more experiences, and I’m happy to share to make it happen.

If they are being supplied extra assets, not importing their own, then can we please have access as well?

With the release of the droids as a locked blueprint you can’t manipulate onto NPC’s or anything and just enabling a control rig, they’re making it very difficult but not impossible to use those droids, I don’t know if it’s a case of not what you know but who you know that got them to be able to break the branding rules, but we can’t use what they gave back to the community in the way they do it. My game requires droids for the narrative, I have tried making them a parent child system, level sequenced animation, animation assets you name it, nothing allows their mesh to be used on anything but a static blueprint in scene. The ai assistant has given me 5 different work arounds for this and nothing worked. the end result is always the same, drag in the mesh from the droid directory… mesh not compatible… try this, mesh not compatible… and over and round and round we go.

I’m hoping Epic see sense to add the animations and movement ability but I won’t hold my breath tbh
