I rigged these characters in Blender. Facial animation was captured from my facial expressions via iPhone Live Link Face and recorded in Unreal Engine.

So nice to see more of this art style. It genuinely only gets better the more I look at it. The animation and voice acting are also incredibly well done - as expected! Do you plan on making this into a series?

Thank you! Always nice to hear from you, PresumptivePanda. Yes, I am planning to make a whole animation series about the story and these characters. But so far, there are still many challenges up ahead. So, it may happen one day or it will just remain as some cool short animation clips

I am really impressed with the fantastic screenshots and short clips of “Star Express” that you shared. I just had to watch the trailer, and it was absolutely charming! I can only imagine how much fun you and everyone else involved had working on this project. May I ask how long you’ve been developing Star Express? Also, is this an animated TV series you’re creating as part of a commercial venture or just for fun?

I’m glad you watched the trailer! The idea of “Star Express” started in 2014. Back then, there are just few scratches, character designs and drawings. Thanks to Unreal Engine, this project is possible to create by one man army. And this animation series for sure is something that I would love to complete. Now, I am pushing this project a bit more to get funding, hopefully this whole animation thing would roll. However, I always love to work a little by little just for some more fun short clips.
