Ultimate Hit Reaction System is a powerful hit reaction framework designed for humanoid characters in Unreal Engine. Even if so, it does look pretty good. Not perfect, some movement is a bit robotic, and the knockback anims are just bad. Still a better one on the market


Are these things still being worked on (from doc)?

  • Enter the ragdoll state after being knocked down.
  • Stand up after entering the ragdoll state.

And does it work with Mover Comp (not CMC)? It probably doesn’t matter.

A smooth transition from ragdoll mode back to a standing position has not yet been implemented, but entering ragdoll mode after being knocked down has already been implemented.

I have not tested whether this works with Mover, but since the principle of this system is simply to play a Montage, there should theoretically be no technical difficulty (as long as Mover supports playing Montages).
