Stained Glass texture maps

Hi there,

i’m planing to make some stained glass and i already found the ue4 guide how to set up the material for this.

My question is how the different stained glass texture should look like, especially the albdeo. It’s enough to take a good picture of a stained glass or does the albedo needs only flat colors in this way?

would be nice if you can show me some examples.

The albedo should only contain surface colour, No AO and shadows.
You can author it like a “traditional” texture, But you will get better results if you follow the PBR workflow.

It may be helpful if you read up on the PBR pipeline.
