I noticed, when optimizing planar reflections, that one of the heaviest performance hits next to shadows was indirect and AO. I turned off distance field shadows, but there’s no flag to turn off SSGI. This is currently eating up over 1/3 of the scene capture performance, and I only want SSGI in the world, not in the reflection captures.
Also, when using the show only list, it’s impossible to select the player character for inclusion.
Planar reflections perform a lot better than people assume, but only after the show flags and settings have all been optimized. While the options are already quite extensive, it would be nice to go further.
