springarm removes collision

I know springarms arent meant for objects, but it is the only thing i have found so far that will rotate the shield and sword around the player on the Z axis with the camera, however, the issue im running into is that both the sword and shield wont have collision at ALL when on the springarm, i am able to detect when they hit things, they just simply wont collide, even with the collision settings being on block for everything

does anyone know how to solve this?

So what you are asking to happen is if the object hits a wall, it shouldn’t go through the wall? Is that the intended behavior? If so, that will not happen because they are attached to wherever you attached them to on your body and will only follow the animations.
