Will there be a FAB spring sale since EPIC store has one on currently?

Remember when there was a sale at the end of every month? Now we’re lucky to get one every 2 or 3 months. Doesn’t answer your question but who knows…

You can thank the EU for that, they regulated discounts for all companies that operate there so sales need to be spaced 30 days apart at the minimum. Since epic is trying to get in their good graces they are following this law globally, I wish it would he where sellers outside the EU can do sales anytime and only include EU users when the threshold for the law is met.

It’s not a EU regulation though. The only regulation that EU requires reguarding sales is to display the lowest price over the last 30 days. There are no limitations to how often you can do sales, just look at Steam or basically any webshop

People in the unreal discord asked epic why sales are so sparse and that was their reasoning. Even in the emails they had a disclaimer about EU laws.

Thats nonsense Im sorry. The lack of sales happening is an EPIC/FAB problem not because of the EU or any other country or their regulations. Its simple really, its either greed or incompetence.

Also note: we are past 30 days since the last sale..

I agree for example playstation store fr get deal every month and including weekend deals so it not EU regulations.

We probably have to wait another month for something…it’s not just that I want to buy assets but sellers need sales and Epic isn’t helping anyone, not even their own company..

ye i feel epic will now do 1 month deal, next month no deal and repeat.

I was just going to say, other companies have sales very often in US, EU, etc.. Thanks for pointing that out.

Its not feasible. This is the exact result of when a company has no compitition and basically controls the market. Its only when artists decide to leave FAB for another platform is when they will make changes. Honestly I hope that does happen because a monopoly is a terrible thing.
