Splitfire is the first twin-stick shooter where both thumbsticks control their own weapons! It’s also the first video game I’ve ever made.
For over 6 years, through significant loss, poor health, and tragedies, I’ve been devoting my life to trying to make a career out of game development. As difficult as it is to make a game alone with zero funds or experience, finding an audience for it is even harder. I would do anything to just be able to have a simple job as a game developer.

First of all, I’m so glad you persevered through dark times and stuck with a goal til the end. It takes an especially courageous and relentless person to find it in themselves to keep going through the kind of circumstances you described.
