When i start making a spline to one direction and then to other direction from the first control point, my material looks very different.
So in the following picture, the center piece is the first spline and then i’ve continued it to both directions. What makes the same material look so different? Like it would be opposite or something. And i applied the mesh and overriding material to all segments at the same time.
I changed my Texture, made a new Normal Map and made my Road Mesh 5cm thick, as before it was just a plane.
Don’t know what i did differently, but now it works just fine. I used the same Material base as before.
For some reason i got the opposite facing splines texture to fit right in, accidentally. Now that i changed the scale of the texture, same problem again.
When i change the resolution, i can see how the splines on left side scale to different direction than on right side.
I don’t understand whats the difference to scaling, i still need to adjust the right scale for the texture? The help provided via above link isn’t explaining this too deeply. And i still have the error of the splines having kind of a reverted axis or something. Now the texture matches, but the shade is different on left and right side on the spline.
