To preface, I am working in UE 5.3.2 making rendered cinematics, not games. This issue was also present in 5.2.
I have several spline meshes that place houses and other objects throughout my level, using the NV Spline Tools (NV Spline Tools in Blueprints - UE Marketplace) product that I bought on the Unreal Marketplace. When I am working in the editor, even with Game view enabled, everything looks normal. All spline meshes are in place. However, when I render a shot with the Movie Render Queue, any spline meshes in the scene are gone. I have no idea if they just transported somewhere else and are therefore out of view, or if they are actually gone, but it’s driving me bonkers. I can kind of work around the problem by converting all the spline meshes to static meshes, but then I lost the editability of the spline mesh, and sometimes the UVs get messed up in the conversion.
Anyone know of a setting that needs to be changed, or what might be causing this issue? I would really love to keep using the spline meshes without needing to replace them all with static meshes.
