Spline Mesh Collision Broken in UE5+ (still looking for ideas)

Still broken, still a problem in UE 5.0, 5.1. Spline mesh collisions appear to have an issue with the Default UE 5 human mannequin (see image below). The default UE 5 vehicle does not have an issue with spline mesh collision. The mannequin however, will not update collision at the start of a spline mesh, but at a certain distance along the spline, suddenly it updates, and correctly collides with the spline mesh. So it seems to be specific to the mannequin. This was not an issue with the mannequin in UE4. I am thinking this is buried deep in the code, so listing this under C++ and source code. Really need a fix. Any ideas? Does anyone know if Epic is aware of this? Thanks.
