Spline issue - Scaling and Rotation incorrect when mesh used as spline

Hello. I’m following this tutorial…&index=76&t=0s and after getting to the part where I select my mesh and set the axis, I come across an issue where the mesh gets smushed down or stretched out depending on the axis I select. None of the axes work correctly. I’ve attached a picture of the normal mesh, and the mesh when applied to the spline, as well as the part of the BP I’m setting the forward axis.

Here you can see the forward facing axis is the Y axis, and it is set to Y in the blueprint. What happens though, is the object is shrunk to about 20% of its size in the Y axis, then rotated 90 degrees along the X axis. Because of the way the code works, I can just manually rotate the actor to the correct degree, then scale it up myself and it sequences just fine. I just want to know why this is happening so I can prevent it in the future.
